A convention that tells the story of business transformation
Z!ng is not just an event, but an experiential environment designed to explore business transformation through three forms of intelligence: artificial, human, and collective.
Hosted within the 850 m² of the Rimini Palacongressi, the convention – organized by Var Group and Durante – welcomed international speakers, technological demonstrations, and immersive content, guiding participants through a fluid and multisensory narrative.
A co-designed concept, blending design and experimentation
The project was developed in close collaboration with Durante, building a shared vision step by step.
The main elements of the installation create a dynamic and modular landscape:
– a two-level green terrace with integrated lighting, designed as a space for interaction and hospitality
– three modular cylindrical media rooms dedicated to demos and technological content
– a cylindrical bar counter harmoniously integrated with the overall layout
– five organic illustrative totems
– coordinated tables and stools
– a large scenographic hanging installation, composed of four groups of violet fireproof paper strips, enveloping and characterizing the entire area
A cohesive environment, designed to guide visitors through a fully immersive narrative journey.
Visual identity as a narrative device
The project builds on the brand identity developed specifically for the Z!ng convention: a continuous gradient from purple to orange applied across all designed surfaces, from furnishings to the large suspended installation.
A vibrant and theatrical palette, capable of creating visual depth, focal points, and an immersive atmosphere.
Technology, design, and sustainability as a unified language
Z!ng showcases the dialogue between sustainable materials and innovation.
Inside the cylindrical mediarooms, the technological experience is enhanced by lightweight, tactile, and recyclable surfaces.
Var Group’s commitment to sustainability is explicitly conveyed through the structural use of recycled cardboard, transformed from a simple material into a deliberate communicative choice.
An experience designed around people
During the design phase, visitor flows, movements, and dwell times were carefully studied to guide attendees through the experiential format. The spatial layout intuitively leads participants between demonstration areas, meeting moments, and relaxation zones, creating a seamless and natural experience.
Everything was custom-designed: shapes, colors, furnishings, and temporary structures. No elements were reused; each component was created to give a precise and memorable identity to the 2025 edition of the Z!ng convention.
