Prestashop, Mail Boxes Etc., and Gel Proximity share a booth at Netcomm Forum 2025, designed by Materieunite. A perfect example of sustainable design, recycled materials, and harmonious visual communication.
A Collective Project to Tell the Future of eCommerce
On the occasion of the 2025 Netcomm Forum in Milan, Fortidia presented a booth shared by three major players in the digital world: Prestashop, Mail Boxes Etc., and Gel Proximity.
The goal? To communicate, through a coherent visual language and a highly sustainable setting, the integration of digital solutions, logistics, and customer experience.
The booth, designed and built by Materieunite, covered 49 square meters and offered an immersive experience within one of the leading trade fair contexts for innovation in eCommerce.
Three Brands, One Harmonious Space
One of the main challenges during the design phase was integrating three distinct brands, each with its own identity and message, into a cohesive exhibition space.
The solution came through a clever color division: each section of the booth was characterized by a coordinated combination of colored linoleum and recycled cardboard, perfectly aligned with each company’s visual language.
Prestashop, with its full black area, welcomed visitors by introducing them to the world of eCommerce creation and management.
Following this, Mail Boxes Etc., in a dark gray area, showcased its logistics and shipping solutions.
Finally, Gel Proximity, characterized by a light gray area, illustrated the efficiency of its network of over 300,000 pick-up points and lockers for shipping and returns.
Recycled, Recyclable, and Natural Materials
The booth was entirely built with materials selected for their circular qualities: high-resistance recycled cardboard and natural colored linoleum for the flooring and details.
The furnishings – tables, chairs, counters, and information totems – were designed with a clean and functional aesthetic, keeping the material textures visible, immediately communicating a focus on sustainability.
In addition, the cardboard panels hosted clear signage, intuitive infographics, and three-dimensional logos, all made from lightweight, recycled materials. The lighting fixtures, also made from cardboard, were suspended using light and integrated systems, helping to create a welcoming and professional atmosphere.
Low-Impact Construction Techniques
All elements of the booth were manufactured using industrial cutting techniques and dry manual assembly. This eliminated the use of adhesives or non-reversible materials, making each component easy to disassemble, transport, and reuse.
The construction efficiency also drastically reduced waste, contributing to the overall sustainability of the project.
An Experience Designed for the Public
The booth successfully interpreted its role not just as an information container, but as a true relational environment.
Each area, from the one dedicated to presentations to the lounge spaces for networking and meetings, was designed to promote interaction between visitors and exhibitors.
The demo stations, with touchscreens embedded in cardboard modules, allowed visitors to intuitively discover the showcased solutions.
