A stand designed to inform, engage, and foster dialogue

The stand created for Uber at the ANCI 2024 Fair covers an area of 96 m² and was conceived to transform a creative concept into a fully sustainable physical space. Curve Studio entrusted Materieunite with redesigning the stand entirely in cardboard, preserving the brand’s clear communication while integrating digital tools to enhance engagement with visitors.

The project involved the development of all components: from the walls to the display systems, from the furniture to the creation of interactive installations that formed the informational core of the stand.

A concept that combines communication, technology, and sustainability

The idea behind the project is clear: to create a lightweight, fully recyclable environment with a strong visual identity that is immediately recognizable as the brand. The black-and-white graphic contrast, typical of the brand, becomes an architectural language here: clean

The space is designed as a meeting point: a place to explore Uber’s local services and understand, through dedicated digital systems, how these can create value for municipalities and Italian communities.

A strong visual identity, shaped through light and geometry

The stand was designed around the contrast between black and white, in line with Uber’s visual identity. The black walls featured high-impact informational graphics, while the white walls and furnishings ensured brightness and balance. Modular accordion-style paper seating with black cushions, sculptural cardboard tables, and the fully white internal meeting room contributed to a minimal and contemporary environment.

Integrated screens and illuminated cuts added a digital and dynamic touch.

Ecodesign and Innovation: a Circular and Technological Project

The installation was designed according to ecodesign principles: fully recyclable materials, lightweight and demountable structures, optimized processes to minimize waste, and minimal use of adhesives thanks to interlocking systems.

Technology – including touchscreens and digital kiosks – was integrated into a fully sustainable space, demonstrating how innovation and reduced environmental impact can coexist.

Audience Engagement

To create an immersive experience, two interactive digital installations were developed. A touch map allowed visitors to search for their municipality and view data on the Uber services available in the area.
