Designing furniture for trade show booths is an integral part of our work. Specifically, we focus on creating eco-friendly furnishings that enhance the company’s presence at the fair through innovative forms.
Dierre chose materieunite to stand out among the exhibitors at Home Together 2020, the trade fair organized by the Gabetti Lab group that celebrates sustainable living in all its forms.
“For the first time, companies, designers, and real estate professionals are able to work together to develop a new concept of sustainable housing,” emphasizes Dierre’s marketing manager, Laura De Robertis.
The Dierre stand for Home Together 2020 was designed by the Architetti Antonelli DEAB studio and represents the two worlds that Dierre’s smart doors separate: the outside environment and the domestic space.
For the “outside” environment, we created a white honeycomb cardboard reception desk—elegant and functional for holding brochures, business cards, and gadgets essential for an efficient trade show service. In the background, we designed a wall of stabilized mosses applied onto honeycomb cardboard to bring a natural touch to the space.
Materieunite interpreted the two spaces by creating an interior design project that combines aesthetics, comfort, and sustainability.
Lichens are natural plants that grow in Scandinavia and are harvested using sustainable methods that protect the ecosystem and respect their natural growth cycle. The stabilization process involves applying a product made from natural glycerin and water, which allows the lichens to be preserved for over ten years.
The use of stabilized lichens within living spaces allows the inclusion of natural elements that endure over time and require no maintenance.
They adapt perfectly to any type of shape, even customized ones such as walls, signs, and panels, and can be installed manually directly on site, optimizing volumes during material transport. Because of these features, they are ideal for furnishing trade show booths, retail environments, and exhibits in general.

Both are made of honeycomb cardboard and covered with Linoleum, a 100% recyclable material that gives a modern and elegant style while ensuring wear resistance.
