When we are able to stop, reasoning about the passage of time is always a cue for balance sheets and new perspectives. We have done the same with this calendar, a time scan that tells what has led us this far and confidently describes us, leaving room for bold suggestions for the future.
At the end of our fourth year in business (our second as an innovative startup), we launched an in-house Research and Development initiative to explore new modes of representation capable of describing and evoking processes, products, services, and value systems. What visual languages can we use to tell the story of a manufacturing company, a design studio, and an experimental laboratory? We respond with a multifaceted visual language, united by the common threads of engineered technology and nature, as a source of inspiration and an aspiration to which we return.
