We work every day to spread a “zero waste” approach to design and production. We reduce waste as much as possible by optimizing the amount of material needed to make the arrangements.
We make use of an elaborate parametric nesting system for design: we design and fit the shapes necessary for the construction of the fittings, using as much as possible the space offered by the material in its initial state and thus reducing waste considerably.
If our approach intrigues you, find out about our research and training projects.
The unused material produced from the cardboard cuttings is thrown into special containers, recycled and reused for the production of new fittings. We can in this way also decrease the amount of raw material we demand from paper mills, easing transportation and resulting in a reduction in CO₂ emissions.
